Front Matter
Chapter 11
In 2010, I created Koyabell Fitness.
In 2019, I formalized what I'd been building for thirty years: the P.E.M.F. Protocol System.
Four pillars. Twenty-six protocols. Seventy-three courses. A complete methodology for human optimization.
And then I discovered Kalaripayattu.
And I realized:
I hadn't created anything new.
I'd remembered something ancient.
THE FOUR PILLARS
P — Performance
Develop mental clarity, recovery power, and spiritual alignment through structured performance protocols.
This maps to the warrior's mental training in Kalaripayattu. The focus. The presence. The ability to be fully here, fully now, fully in your body.
I developed Performance protocols for my athletes and students. Mental preparation. Visualization. Goal-setting. The warrior's mind.
I didn't know I was teaching the kalari way.
E — Energy
Optimize cellular energy, nutrition, supplementation, and daily rhythms for sustained high output.
This maps to the healer's art in Kalaripayattu. The understanding that the body runs on energy — cellular energy, electrical energy, spiritual energy.
I learned this from my mother. From watching her heal. From researching how cells work, how cancer grows, how the body can heal itself.
I learned this from PEMF technology — Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy that charges the cells like batteries. From my primetime medical device. From the Kangen water. From fasting and nutrition and all the tools I've gathered.
I didn't know I was following the marma science.
M — Movement
Warrior-grade movement — Koyabell training, Kalaripayattu, adaptive fitness, and functional mobility.
This maps directly to Kalaripayattu's Meythari — the body exercises. The foundation. Everything begins here.
The squirrel forms. The stick work. The flows. The burpee variations. The animal movements that seemed like inventions but were actually ancestral memory.
I built Koyabell Fitness around movement that the human body was designed for. Compound. Natural. Challenging. Beautiful.
I didn't know I was rebuilding the kalari curriculum.
F — Flow
Meditation, breathwork, intention setting, and flow state protocols for optimal mental performance.
This maps to Kalaripayattu's meditative dimension. The breath work. The inner practice. The warrior's connection to spirit.
My Bollywood movement meditation — theether, the space between movements — is this practice. The flow state I enter when I grab a blade or a rock and let my body do what it knows.
This is where the warrior becomes the art.
This is where everything comes together.
THE EIGHT-MINUTE TRANSFORMATION
At Koyaville — my gym — we had something called the Mat Cave.
It was a corner of the studio with curtains around it. A PEMF therapy mat inside. And me.
I'd give my students eight minutes on the mat. Eight minutes of pulsed electromagnetic frequency, charging their cells, reducing inflammation, restoring energy.
Then we'd move. Then I'd do the Koya Kinetic — the shaking, the trigger points, the release.
Eight minutes.
That's all it took.
Twenty-five pounds in six weeks. Muscle gain. Fat loss. Transformations that the students could see, that I documented with pictures because I always say: prove in the pudding.
I was teaching Kalaripayattu healing without knowing it.
The Kalari chikitsa. The eight-minute treatment. The integration of bodywork and energy work.
My great-grandparents would have understood exactly what I was doing.
Because they were already doing it.
THE COMPLETE SYSTEM
This is why the P.E.M.F. Protocol System works.
It's not just fitness. It's not just biohacking. It's not just wellness.
It's the warrior's path. Rebuilt for modern times. Using modern tools. But carrying the same ancient architecture.
Performance. Energy. Movement. Flow.
The complete warrior.
CHAPTER 11: WRAP UP
WARRIOR REFLECTION
- Which of the four P.E.M.F. pillars is strongest in your current life? Which is weakest?
- What would it mean to have a complete system — not just fitness, but everything?
- How might approaching your practice as a "warrior system" change how you show up?
TRAINING / ACTION
- Map your current routine against the four pillars: What do you do for Performance? For Energy? For Movement? For Flow?
- Add one missing pillar to your practice this week. Just one.
CELLULAR INSIGHT
Integrated training approaches — combining physical movement with breathwork, energy optimization, and mental focus — produce superior results to isolated training. The cells respond to the whole system, not just individual inputs.
